For this project I will be conducted a research project on the Facial Feedback Hypothesis. The Facial Feedback Hypothesis states that when we engage certain muscles in the face without trying to feel an emotion, that emotion will be evoked because of the signals that are sent to our brain. I specifically looked at the effect of eliciting frustration through muscle manipulation of the face and what those effects have on motor performance on a mirror tracing task. What I hoped to find is that as the participants were more frustrated, it will take them longer to complete the task and they will make more errors.
